Apricots are one of the most versatile commodities offered by SGS. This velvety- skinned stone fruit can be eaten fresh out of your hand, made into jam or marmalade or used as the main ingredient in cobblers, pies, and even salsas! The apricot is one of the first commodities in season here in California, and the fruit helps kick off the stone fruit season. Here at SGS we are fortunate to have apricots from the earliest growing area on the west side of the San Joaquin Valley to last areas of harvest in the Patterson area. Let us start your apricot season in late April and extend it through mid-July!
